New York is a world-class city teeming with activity, people, and fascinating neighborhoods, and is a hotbed of the arts. It will be your extended classroom and a source of inspiration and subject matter for your projects. We will have guest lectures and go on several field trips to augment your experience of the city as a center of graphic design and human activity.

In the first 2 weeks students will pick a topic that relates to their daily

experiences in NYC and collect data about their observations. In the
final week they will create an infographic that displays the data in a dynamic format including maps, graphs and diagrams and a video format, created in Premiere.
